Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number, company and job title, and anything you include when you complete a form on our website, email us, or book a call. Client and prospect records: business contact details and correspondence relating to work we do or discuss with you or your organisation. Website usage data: information collected automatically via cookies and analytics, such as pages viewed and approximate location.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, and with our professional advisers. These currently include: Email and productivity (Google Workspace); Website hosting (Framer); Scheduling (Calendly); Accounting software and our accountant (FreeAgent; Maslins); Website analytics (Google Analytics). Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, then delete or anonymise it. Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months where no engagement follows. Records relating to a client engagement, and accounting records, are kept for six years to meet legal and tax requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to its use; and, where applicable, data portability. To exercise any of these, email tara@carrollcommerce.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

How to complain

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first at tara@carrollcommerce.co.uk so we can put it right. We’ll acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the ICO: Website: ico.org.uk. Helpline: 0303 123 1113.
